From idea to delivery

Every piece begins with an idea. This one began with music.

Music is precision.
Rhythm. Repetition. The tension between black and white.

This piece was not created as decoration.
It began with studying proportion, tempo and form.

From the first observation of piano keys to final packaging, each piece passes through hands, fire and time.

1. Studying the Form

The process begins with observing the piano — its proportions, the rhythm of octaves and the exact geometry of the keys. Not interpretation, but study. How do the ratios work? What tension is created between black and white?

The keyboard is then stylized into the form of a necklace. A balance is sought between recognizability and abstraction. Different proportions of individual elements and the overall composition are explored.

2. 3D Modeling

The final design is transferred into 3D software. The digital model precisely defines dimensions, thickness, joints and technical details required for production.

3. 3D Printing the Prototype

Individual components are 3D printed as prototypes. It is the first moment the idea can be held in hand.

4. Creating Plaster Molds

Plaster molds are produced from the prototypes for each component of the piece. The mold determines both precision and repeatability.

5. Porcelain Casting

Liquid porcelain is poured into the prepared molds. Once set, each cast is carefully removed and left to dry.

6. Refining and Pre-Assembly

Each piece is hand-finished and sanded. Complete pendant sets are assembled — proportions must be exact even before firing.

7. First Firing – Biscuit

The first firing takes place at 980 °C. A solid but unglazed porcelain base is created.

8. Coloring and Glazing

The black keys are hand-painted. transparent glaze is applied over the entire surface to enhance the purity of form.

9. Second Firing

The second firing at 1250 °C fuses the glaze and gives the piece its final strength and subtle sheen.

10. Final Assembly

The porcelain elements are strung onto stainless steel wire. A custom clasp mechanism is created — a technical detail that must be as precise as the form itself.

11. Packaging and Delivery

Each piece is packaged and prepared for its journey. From the first sketch to delivery, the process takes several weeks.

The result is an object that carries musical precision, craftsmanship and time.
